Restore H2O
Clean water remains scarce in Cambodian’s rural areas, where about 77% of the country's total population of 16.4 million people live.
In the Kampong Speu Province, there are over 40,000 households that do not have a faucet in their homes and rely on trips to the nearby lake to acquire water. Once at Lake Tanuon, villagers must gather the water themselves, and forgo the worry about the possible contaminants left by missiles and rockets from the Vietnam War.
Restore H2O was created as a positive initiative to bring off-grid energy that will be used to generate clean drinking water for these 40,000 households in Kampong Speu Province.
